Theatre Nurse/ODP - Scrub

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Theatre Nurse/ODP - Scrub to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Preston, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital has consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• High standards of clinical competence
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Experience in ophthalmology would be an advantage
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements
• Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction would be an advantage but not - essential
• ALS trained is highly desirable
• Holding an SFA is advantageous

The successful Theatre Nurse/ODP - Scrub will receive an excellent salary from £28,500 up to £35,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin or an ODP with a valid HCPC registration
